Company Expands Executive Team with Seasoned Expert to Lead Cyber Security Consulting and Operations for Government and Commercial Sectors Foreground Security today announced that it has expanded its executive team with a new Executive Vice President of Cyber Security Solutions, Anthony Bargar. In this role, Mr. Bargar is responsible for managing and providing strategic direction for the company’s cyber security business operations. Mr. Bargar is also tasked with strengthening Foreground Security’s cutting-edge service offerings and market focus for federal government and commercial clients. Mr. Bargar brings over 13 years of experience in providing cyber security and information assurance to the US Department of Defense (DOD) and Intelligence community. He previously served as Senior Policy and Strategy Advisor to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Cyber, Identity and Information Assurance within the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Mr. Bargar also implemented and oversaw the DoD CISO responsibilities for the Federal Information Management and Privacy Act. For the DoD, Mr. Bargar led strategy and transformation-enabling cybersecurity. He was on the team that developed the President's Comprehensive National Cyber Initiative (CNCI), supported the Department's cyber responsibilities in the interagency Critical Infrastructure Protection, Resilience / Business Continuity and National Telecommunication programs and was the senior representative to the White House on national cyber-incident response and information sharing. He is a distinguished graduate from the National Defense University, and has a Master's Degree from Johns Hopkins University in Information Security.
