David Amsler - President & CIO David Amsler, founder of Foreground Security, currently serves as the company’s President/CEO and Chief Information Officer. With more than 13 years of IT security experience, Mr. Amsler oversees the overall vision and direction of Foreground Security and its industry leading offerings. He is dedicated to achieving the company’s customer centric vision and is actively involved in customer projects and day-to-day operations, ensuring customers derive the greatest value from Foreground’s services. A recognized leader in the information security auditing and testing arena, Mr. Amsler has designed end-to-end security architectures for some of the largest government and commercial organizations including DHHS, DOC and GE. He has earned numerous certifications and recognitions in the IT space, including MCP, MCSE, MCT, CISSP, CISM, Security+, CCSE, CCSA, CCNA, CCSP, CEH, CHFI and NSA IAM/IEM. Given his level of expertise and knowledge, Mr. Amsler has taught more than 350 information security courses to leading government organizations including the IRS, NSA, DOD, FBI, DISA and NASA. In addition, he has developed policies and procedures that are now documented and referenced throughout numerous government agencies. A published author, Mr. Amsler has written numerous papers, books and articles on various topics within the security industry. His writings are referenced in publications and official government documents with leading agencies and organizations such as the IRS, DHS, FLETC and DOJ. Prior to founding Foreground, Mr. Amsler was the Senior Vice President of Cyberspann, a service provider in the communications, information technology and IT security arenas. He holds bachelor’s degrees in business administration and political science from Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC.
Alison Kidd - Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Alison is responsible for creating new sales opportunities and building the corporate brand. In this role, she is tasked with overseeing global sales efforts and creating integrated marketing programs that drive industry awareness for Foreground Security's leading security services. Alison also works with the company.s sales and services teams to create offerings and deliver services that enable customers to optimize their security investments, implement proactive policies and customize responses, so they can derive the increased protection unavailable from off-the-shelf solutions. Prior to joining Foreground Security, Alison was Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at CertiPath. Previously, she held executive positions at BMC Software with responsibility for sales in the financial, IT, manufacturing, retail and healthcare industries. In addition, Alison worked at Cybertrust, where she managed and drove sales efforts, helping the company grow from 21 to 250 million in annual revenue. During her tenure there, she was recognized as the sales executive of the year for several consecutive years. With more than 15 years of sales and marketing experience, including 10 years in the information security services industry, Alison provides Foreground Security with a strong track record of building demand and adoption for security solutions and services throughout Fortune 500 and government organizations.
Anthony Bargar - Executive Vice President for Cyber Security Solutions Mr. Anthony Bargar is Executive Vice President for Cyber Security Solutions at Foreground Security. He is responsible for managing and providing strategic direction for the company’s cyber security business operations. Mr. Bargar is also tasked with strengthening Foreground Security’s cutting-edge service offerings and market focus for federal government and commercial clients.Prior to joining Foreground he was the Senior Policy Advisor leading DoD's Cyber Resilience and Mission Assurance efforts for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Cyber, Identity & Information Assurance (CIIA) where he led the strategic goal to transform and enable Information Assurance capabilities for the DoD. Anthony was on the team that developed the President’s Comprehensive National Cyber Initiative (CNCI), supported the Department’s cyber responsibilities in the interagency Critical Infrastructure Protection, Resilience / Business Continuity and National Telecommunication programs and was the senior representative to the White House on national cyber-incident response and information sharing. He has also served as IA-Senior Technology Advisor for the Counterintelligence Field Activity, and Senior IA Analyst for the Defense Intelligence Agency, where he implemented the Defense Intelligence Communities enterprise risk management system. Mr. Bargar led a research project for the DoD on shared critical information infrastructure protection and defense with the National Defense University (NDU) and the Swedish National Defense College. He holds a master’s degree in Information and Telecommunication Systems for Business from Johns Hopkins University. Additionally, he is a distinguished graduate from the National Defense University (NDU) Information Resources Management College. |
